Ben Geren Regional Park Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The facility has three 9-hole golf courses, The Magnolia, The Silo and The Willow. These 9-hole courses can be paired up to form three 18-hole golf courses, Willow/Silo, Willow/Magnolia, and Magnolia/Silo.
Ben Geren Regional Park Golf Course, The Willow/Magnolia nines opened in 1970. They were designed by Marvin Ferguson. The Silo Course, added in 1997, was designed by Jeffrey D. Brauer.
The Silo Course features a links-style design with just a few trees. The terrain as also hillier than the original holes. The Magnolia Course is the most demanding nine, while the Willow Course is more forgiving. Water hazards are distributed equally on all three courses, and nearly every hole is well protected by sand or water in play. The greens are medium to large in size and will accommodate the high amount of play. Every green is visible from the approach shot, but you will have a variety of creative shots on this course. One of the tougher holes is #7 on the Magnolia Course. This 196-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot to an elevated green, which is protected by four sand bunkers.

The grounds crew has let this place go to seed. If you like looking for golf balls five feet off the fairway, BG is for you. Greens are mushy. No roots. Constantly punched and sanded. Seems like Sebastian County is more concerned with disc golf, softball and a water park. Sucks.
